Relax, Release, Restore

Dr. Cheriece McNeely

“One of my favorite proverbs is, 'As a man thinks, so is he.'  We tend to underestimate the power of our minds: the ability to think, choose, reason, learn and understand.  The correct perspective and a sound mind can change the trajectory of our lives.”

- Cheriece McNeely, MD

Dr. Cheriece McNeely is a psychiatrist with dual-board certification in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Her practice is marked by a keen focus on delivering unparalleled, expert psychiatric care spanning all stages of life. Specializing in medication management and holistic treatment, Dr. McNeely collaborates closely with patients, tailoring treatment plans to their unique needs and mental health goals.

Employing a holistic approach, Dr. McNeely delves deep into understanding her patients, acknowledging the intricate interplay of genetic, psychological, and societal factors shaping their well-being. With empathy as her compass, she guides individuals through life's transitions, aids in healing from past traumas, and empowers them to prioritize their inner peace, paving the way for vibrant, fulfilling lives.

Following a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, Dr. McNeely discerns whether personalized medication interventions could complement existing treatment strategies. Recognizing the synergistic benefits of therapy and medication, she seamlessly integrates therapeutic modalities into appointments, as she understands the combination of both significantly improves outcomes.

Most importantly, Dr. McNeely is acutely aware of the stigma surrounding mental health care and is committed to demystifying mental health concerns to promote positive outcomes for her patients. Thus, she offers convenient virtual appointments, ensuring accessibility to care, but also so that you have the opportunity to receive care in a place which is comfortable for you.  Serving patients in Illinois, Indiana, Georgia, Wisconsin, Texas, and Alabama, Dr. McNeely extends her compassionate expertise to promote positive mental health outcomes within her community and beyond.
